HISTORY

NOTE: This series is posted on Covenant Media Foundation’s website under their history category. And though it is not a series by Dr. Bahnsen, I have included it here because of its educational value, and to augment Bahnsen’s series on The History of Western Philosophy.

About the lecturer:  Steve Wilkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree (in Pre-Law) from the University of Alabama and a Masters of Divinity from the Reformed Theological Seminary of Jackson, Mississippi. He was ordained as a minister in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA) in 1976. He served as the pastor of Auburn Avenue Presbyterian Church of Monroe, Louisiana from 1989 to 2018. On April 15, 2018, Auburn Avenue Presbyterian Church began worshipping in a new location in West Monroe, LA. and changed its name to Church of the Redeemer.

History of the Church by Pastor Steve Wilkins: History is the story of God’s providential working to bring to pass all His purposes. God started history, God controls history and God will end history-it is His-Story. It is especially important for Christians to understand the historical context of the church. This outstanding series will help you get a grasp of the events that have impacted God’s people through the years.
