“Greg L. Bahnsen, (1948-1995), was an ordained minister in the Orthodox Presbyterian Church and a full time Scholar in Residence for the Southern California Center for Christian Studies. He received his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Southern California, specializing in the theory of knowledge. He previously received the B.A. (magna cum laude, philosophy) from Westmont College, and then simultaneously earned the M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary. Dr. Bahnsen lectured to a broad range of evangelical Christian groups at many colleges and conferences.
He was an experienced apologist and debater, a clear and cogent teacher of the Christian worldview who was devoted to training believers in understanding and applying the Christian faith to every area of life. He published numerous scholarly articles, a number of well-known books, and has over 1,500 recorded lectures and sermons. NOTE: While Dr. Bahnsen died on December 11th, 1995, his audio tapes and written materials were, and still remain, the foundation for Covenant Media Foundation’s ministry.” – CMF
The Bahnsen Bible Academy

The Bahnsen Bible Academy assists in understanding Scripture and applying it through the audio teaching ministry of the late Dr. Greg L. Bahnsen. In September 2020 all of Dr. Bahnsen’s audio files were released into the public domain by The Bahnsen Institute, with the encouragement to duplicate, share, and distribute his materials far and wide until the knowledge of the glory of The Lord fills the earth, as the waters cover the sea. Though this website has no affiliation with The Bahnsen Institute, The Bahnsen Bible Academy was founded and exists to pursue all of the aims it encourages.
Now that Dr. Bahnsen’s audio files are publically available, a great effort has been made to enhance the sound quality of his over 1,500 recorded lectures and sermons. The Bahnsen Bible Academy joins this restoration effort and uniquely adds navigational timestamped outlines for ease of access and comprehension. The site also houses, articles, videos, and teaching aids to help all levels of Bible students. It is my prayer that all of these things will be of great benefit to anyone seeking instruction and to be able to rightly divide The Word of Truth. — MD Allen.

There are a range of differing thoughts about YouTube’s influence on the populace, but I would argue that they’d all agree it’s huge. “YouTube has 2.1 billion monthly active users across the globe and around 122 million daily users,” According to the Deadline article, YouTube Content Creators Deliver Burgers, Nine-Foot Jeans, An 16-Carat Gold Xbox Controller…And Enormous Audiences. It continues, “…the platform’s reach often surpasses film and TV viewing figures…a fact that has caused the film and television industry to sit up and take notice.” And, I might add, they’re not the only ones taking notice; any missions-minded Christian should see the great potential these modern tools have to reach the world for Christ, and fast at work doing so.
A year ago I started on YouTube with Dr. Bahnsen’s Apologetics series. As it nears completion, I look forward to bringing to the platform—and other social media—his series on The Reformation, Eschatology, and Revelation – some of the most needed, controversial, and popular, sermons and lectures of our day. These especially, can help Bible students when they are accompanied with the added notes and outlines uniquely provided by The Bahnsen Bible Academy’s website…So, please spread the word about the site, and stay tuned!
